Homemade Cheese Crackers

Homemade Cheese Crackers
Scrumptious and satisfies your salt craving. ;)
Shred your cheese and add to medium bowl.


Add the flour, salt, and butter to the bowl.



Mix it up and process it in a food processor.





Use water and make the mixture a dough.  Form a disk and cover with plastic wrap.  Refrigerate for an hour.




Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Roll out to 1/8 inch sheet, cut into 1 inch cubes, then poke the centers with a wooden skewer or a chopstick.



Place crackers on a pan lined with parchment paper, then bake for about 10 minutes.

Ingredients:
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp or mild)
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter, softened
water

Directions:
1.  Process all of the ingredients in a food processor and add water in small increments to make a dough.  Form a disk, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for an hour.
2.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spread the dough out into a 1/8 inch thick piece, cut into 1 inch cubes, and poke the centers of each cube with a wooden skewer, or a chopstick.
3.  Place each cracker on a pan lined with parchement paper and bake for about 10 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.  Done! :)
