Chicken BBQ Stir Fry

Chicken BBQ Stir Fry
Spicy and delicious stir fry! :)
Trim your chicken breasts and cut them into bite-sized cubes.


Add oil to large skillet, then add the chicken.
Peel the onion and the garlic.

Chop and slice the onion up into small pieces.

Mince the garlic cloves.

Add the onion and the garlic to the skillet.
Cook the chicken until it gets a char, then add some water to the skillet to stall the cooking process.


Add the green beans and mix well.

Cover skillet.
Combine seasonings in small bowl: kosher salt, ground pepper, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, paprika, and the chili powder.






Mix the seasonings together.
Uncover the chicken and let the water boil out of the skillet.
Once all of the water is out, add the seasonings, stir, and turn off the heat: you're done!

Ingredients:
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thawed if frozen
1 yellow onion
3 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons canola oil
4 cups frozen green beans (can be thawed-- cooking time will be less)
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (or 1/4 teaspoon table salt)
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 chili powder
water

Directions:
1.  Trim and cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized cubes.
2.  Add the canola oil to the skillet along with the chicken pieces.
3.  Cut up the onion into small pieces, and mince the garlic.  Add to the skillet.
4.  Heat over high heat, stirring frequently, until the chicken develops a char.
5.  Add about 1/2 cup water to quell the cooking.  Add the green beans and stir.  Cover with lid and let simmer.
6.  Add the seasonings (salt, ground pepper, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, and paprika) in a small bowl and mix to coagulate.
7.  Take the lid off of the skillet and let the water boil out.  Once the water is out, add the seasoning mixture and mix thoroughly.  Turn off the heat; you're done!
