Shortbread Cookies

Shortbread Cookies
Delicious, easy, and cute shortbread cookies!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Add the butter to the mixer and whip.
Add the brown sugar and mix well.  Then, keep adding one cup of flour until you add about 3 1/2 cups of flour.
Kneed the dough with hands, adding about 1/2 cup more flour.  Roll out on a floured surface and cut into desired shapes.
Place on pans covered with parchment paper or pans covered with aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick spray,
Bake for about 8 minutes (min took about 10 minutes), and they're perfect!

Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 21 minutes
Makes about 11 dozen cookies (mine: about 125 small cookies)

Ingredients:
2 cups butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 cups all-purpose flour

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Whip up the butter in mixer until no clumps are seen.
2.  Add the brown sugar and mix.
3.  Add one cup of flour at a time, until you add 3 1/2 cups.
4.  Kneed on floured surface and add 1/2 cup more flour.  Roll out on floured surface and cut into desired shapes.
5.  Place each cookie on pans lined with parchment paper, or pans covered with aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick spray.
6.  Bake for about 8 minutes (mine took 11 minutes), and they're perfect!
