Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
Good, old-fashioned oatmeal raisin cookies!

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees and add butter to mixer.

Whip it up!
Add the white sugar and mix.
Add the brown sugar and mix.
Add the two eggs and the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Add the 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon salt to the batter.
Add one cup of flour and mix.
Add remaining 1/2 cup of flour and mix.
Add one cup of oats at a time, until you add 3 cups.
Add the 1 cup raisins.

Drop onto pan covered with parchment paper or pans covered with aluminum sprayed with non-stick spray.
Bake for 10 minutes, checking frequently afterwords (mine took about 14 minutes).
Beautiful and yummy!

Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt


Directions:
1.  Whip up the butter in mixer until no clumps are seen.
2.  Add 1/2 cup sugar and mix.  Then, add the 1 cup brown sugar and mix.
3.  Add the 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix very well.
4.  Add the 1 teaspoon soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon salt to the mixture and mix.
5.  Add one cup of flour and combine well.  Then, add the remaining 1/2 cup flour.
6.  Add one cup of oats at a time, until you add 3 cups.
7.  Form into balls on parchment covered pans, or pans covered with aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick spray.
8.  Bake for 10 minutes, checking often afterward (mine took about 14 minutes to fully bake).
