Balsamic Marinated Chicken Breasts

Balsamic Marinated Chicken Breasts
Scrumptious, spicy balsamic marinated chicken!
First, add the 3.4 cup balsamic vinegar to a medium-sized bowl.

Then, add the 1/2 cup water.
Add the 1 teaspoon dried minced onion.
Add the 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes.
Add the 1/2 teaspoon dried garlic powder.
Add the 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Add the 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper.
Add the 1/4 teaspoon paprika.
Add the 1/4 teaspoon rosemary.
Add the 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes.
Add the 1/4 teaspoon chili powder.
Add the 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano.
Whisk together a little bit.

Pour mixture into a medium-sized Ziploc bag.

Prepare you thawed chicken breasts:  trim.

Add chicken breasts to bag and put in marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to overnight.
After 30 minutes, or when ready to bake, preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Spray a pan covered with aluminum foil with non-stick spray.
Place marinated chicken on pan, put on middle rack of oven, and bake for 40 minutes (perfect time).






Be sure that the thickest piece hits over 165 degrees.

Makes 8 servings (1 breast)

Ingredients:
3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon dried minced onion

1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano


8 boneless skinless chicken breasts (thawed and trimmed)

Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients but the chicken in a medium-sized bowl.
2.  Whisk seasonings together, then pour carefully into medium-sized Ziploc bag.
3.  Marinade trimmed chicken breasts in the bag for at least 30 minutes to overnight in refrigerator.
4.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
5.  Place marinated chicken breasts on pan covered with aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick spray and bake for 40 minutes, or until the thickest piece of chicken reaches over 165 degrees (Watch the time!  Mine was well done by 40 minutes, so you may want to check them at 35 minutes!)
