Valentine's Day Oreo Cookies

Valentine's Day Oreo Cookies
Delicious, fun Valentine's Day cookies! :)
Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl and whisk together.

Whisk together the butter, brown sugar, and egg in mixer until smooth.

Combine the whisked egg mixture with the flour mixture, until a dough forms.

Split into two sections and roll out each into an 1/'8" thick piece of dough.  Repeat with remaining half of dough.  Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Once ready, preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cut out into an even number of heart-shapes, large and small.

Bake for about 8-10 minutes (depending on the size of the cookies), until fragrant and a bit bubbly-looking.

Once cool, split into two sections (evenly).

Turn one half over to expose the bottoms of the cookies.

Pipe a bit of icing onto the cookie, in a v-shape.

Press another cookie on top, right-side up.  Done!

Do the same with larger cookies.

Beautiful; done! :)
