Strawberry Jell-O Cookies
Fun Jell-O inspired cookies! :) |
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cream up the butter a bit. |
Add the sugar and Jell-O mix and mix well. |
Add the eggs and the vanilla extract and mix well. |
Combine the flour, salt, and the baking powder in a bowl |
Add in parts to the batter. |
Drop by 2-tablespoon-fuls onto pans lined with parchment paper. Press down on each cookie with the bottom of a flat mug that is sprayed with non-stick spray. |
Sprinkle each cookie with a bit of sugar. Bake for about 8 minutes, being careful to take them out the second the edges start to brown. |

Ingredients:
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 package (.3 oz) Jell-O (I used Strawberry-- Strawberry or Raspberry is recommended)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
sugar for sprinkling
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cream the butter in mixer along with sugar and Jell-O mix.
2. Add the eggs and the vanilla extract.
3. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl and add to batter in parts.
4. Drop by 2-tablespoon-fuls onto pans lined with parchment paper. Press into disks with the bottom of a flat mug, sprayed with non-stick spray. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for about 8 minutes, taking out just before the edges start to brown.
