Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Delicious peanut-butter indulgence! |
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Add the butter to the mixer and whip. |
Add the 1/2 cup peanut butter to the butter. |
Add the 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. |
Add the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1 egg. |
Add the 1 teaspoon baking soda and one cup of flour, mix, then add the remaining 1/2 cup flour. |
Add the 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and gently mix in. |

Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and whip up the butter in mixer until no clumps are seen.
2. Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar and mix.
3. Add the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract , then add the egg and mix very well.
4. Add the 1 teaspoon baking soda to the dough, along with one cup of flour.
5. Add remaining 1/2 cup of flour.
6. Add the 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips, gently.
7. Form into balls on parchment covered pans, or pans covered with aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick spray.
8. Bake for 10 minutes, checking often afterward (mine took about 12 minutes to fully bake).
