Fun, fun, fun funfetti cookies! |
Add butter to mixer and whip. |
Add sugar and mix. |
Add 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix well. |
Add1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, and 1 teaspoon cream of tarter and mix. |
Add one cup of flour, mix, then add the remaining 1/2 cup of flour. |
Add the sprinkles (!!) and mix gently through mix. :) |
Form into balls on parchment covered pans, or pans covered with aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick spray. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake cookies for 8 minutes (mine took about 12 minutes). |

Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies (mine: 28 cookies)

Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sprinkles (Jimmy's)
Directions:
1. Whip up the butter in mixer until no clumps are seen.
2. Add 3/4 cup sugar and mix.
3. Add the 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix very well.
4. Add the 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon salt to the mixture and mix.
5. Add one cup of flour and combine well. Then, add the remaining 1/2 cup flour.
6. Gently mix in the 1/2 cup sprinkles.
7. Form into balls on parchment covered pans, or pans covered with aluminum foil, sprayed with non-stick spray. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
8. Bake for 8 minutes, checking often afterward (mine took about 12 minutes to fully bake).
